Nicole has an extensive background in government practice on the federal, state and local levels. After graduating law school Nicole began her career as a civil-rights attorney with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. In addition to her civil-rights work, during her time at HUD Nicole monitored the litigation activities of public housing authorities in the New England region.
After pursuing an MBA, during which time she worked on risk and compliance with both an international mining company and a Wall Street bank, Nicole soon began a career in disaster-recovery on behalf of a state agency. In that role she developed the agency's compliance program, including their onsite monitoring process, and negotiated contracts from the procurement through to contract completion.
